"From getting injured playing a season of u18s county and regional rugby in 2017, I realised that I needed to regain strength and stability if I was to go further in my rugby. Jacob has been my dads personal trainer for a number of years and it was an easy decision to go to him for advice. From the off he has listened to my needs as a female athlete, providing a personal program tailored to preventing injury and gaining muscle strength he also provided nutritional advice, performance testing, regular training sessions/ check ins and pre-game activation sessions. "Jacob has been putting together my programmes and coaching me 1:1 since last November.  The first few cycles were all aimed at getting me ready to complete an Iron distance triathlon in the summer of 2018 for my 50th birthday. If your not familiar with Ironman distance triathlon it’s a 3.8k swim followed by a 180k bike and topped off with  42.2k run.  Jacob’s aim was to make sure my body remained strong throughout the event especially coming off the bike and onto the run. The work we did and his support along the way meant I had good race which I finished with very little discomfort and post race recovery was pain free.  Since the summer we have worked on developing and increasing my strength in the squat and bench.  Again his knowledge and programming have helped me make gains that probably would not be possible just training on my own while keeping my joints healthy.   Knowing there is a coach around who’s non judgemental, asking how I’m doing, making sure the program has relevance and fits into my working week makes a massive difference to wanting to consistently train, improve and remain healthier than most of the general population. The knowledge, desire to keep learning and application of that by all the coaches at EPL is fantastic. I’ve seen and experienced how they can you help you reach your physical potential and take on your personal challenges be it sporting, health related or aesthetic with fantastic results across the board. Since I started training with Jacob I managed to learn a completely new sport. My strength has increased significantly and my technique gets better as the time goes on.
